Happy Easter (maybe)

I had the Friday before Easter off so while Richard was in post op (for knee surgery) I took Sam to have her first toddler library experience. It was really cute and Sam was not sure what was going on. The librarian read stories and played different Easter games. It was fun for both Sam and I.

On Saturday I took her to Old Settlers Park for a Easter egg hunt. They had it broken up into age groups. So at least Sam had some sort of a chance getting some candy. She was not quite sure at first what to do but once she figured it out she had fun but as soon as she found a tootsie roll pop all was over. She chew the wrapper off then wanted to do nothing else but enjoy her sucker.










Here are some pics from Easter. Unfortunately it was not a fun day for some. Richard spent a majority of the afternoon in the ER for his knee that he had surgery on (on Friday), it looked as though it may have been infected. It turned out that is wasn't but it just seemed as the afternoon wore on the day got worse. I burned some of dinner and my potato cass dish actually EXPLODED all over the stove. Definitely not one of my better holidays!
